Crafting Luxury for Little Ones

DesignAnswers was approached by a premium marketplace – DuckDuckBaby, specializing in maternity and baby products. Our task was to develop a complete brand identity, including packaging and website UI, that reflected the brand’s premium positioning and resonated with its target audience.

Listening to Parents, Learning the Market

As part of our design process, we analysed the competitive landscape to understand the positioning of other premium maternity and baby brands. This helped us identify gaps and opportunities in the market.

Brand Strategy

Our strategy focused on creating a soft, premium look that embodied premiumness and comfort. The design language was developed to evoke a sense of tenderness and quality assurance, elegant typography, and delicate graphics.

The challenge was to create a brand that would stand out in the crowded staples market while specifically appealing to the 40+ demographic. We needed to highlight the benefits of these staples and the importance of making the right healthy food choices.

Through extensive market research, we gathered insights into the preferences and motivations of the target audience. We focused on their desire for healthier, more nutritious food swaps and the importance of clear, honest communication about product benefits

We designed a sophisticated logo with soft curves and sans-serif fonts to reflect the gentle and nurturing essence of the brand.
We selected a soft, pastel colour palette with hues like blush pink, beige to evoke feelings of warmth and comfort.

This project demonstrated our expertise in creating a cohesive and premium brand experience. By developing a soft, premium design language and extending it across all touchpoints, we successfully met the client’s goals and delivered a brand that resonated with its target audience. The new brand identity was very well-received by the target audience, resulting in increased brand recognition and customer loyalty.
